Coaches should follow the Coaches getting started steps. One of the steps is to request to join the club you have created.

Via the Clubs menu go to Members -> Joined

All users have a personalised Me area.

This section is relevant if you are a member of a club or group with events requiring availability. To update your availability for upcoming calendar events choose either , or . The options available will depend on how the calendar item is setup. To add an attendance comment open the calendar event and go to the Me tab.

Each user has a personal calendar including their own items along with items for relevant clubs and groups. There are 4 different calendar views. A year view, a month view, a week view and a list view.

To add a calendar item use the button or click on the specific date.

Use the profile section to update your personal information and general fitness attributes such as height as weight.

Activities - add information specific to different activities. For example if you are a rower, do you row on just one side or both?

Clubs - update your club specific information.

Weight - this information is used for calculating weight adjusted erg scores. When a result is saved the relevant weight will be used. Note that entering a weight for a past date will not recalculate already entered scores.

The results page shows your workout fitness scores. Currently it is only possible to add a result to an Indoor Rowing workout. To add a result to a training session added by your coach open the calendar event and go to the Me tab. To enter a private result first create an Indoor Rowing event in your personal calendar.

Indoor Rowing results can be synced using the free tools ErgData and Concept2 Online Logbook.

  • Before starting your workout connect to your Concept2 machine using the ErgData app on your mobile.
  • Sync your ErgData results to your Concept2 Online Logbook account.
  • Import your Concept2 Online Logbook results to FitClub.me.

A club is a private area that is an online hub for members to keep track of training, social events and other club activities. Users can request to join a club via the club search page.

The club calendar includes all club events as well as all group events that the user has permissions for. Different event types are represented by different icons.

Only club admins can add, edit or delete club calendar events. To add a club calendar item use the button or click on the specific date.

Create groups for teams, squads or committees within the club. For information on groups go to the HELP - GROUPS section on the help page.

Use this section to keep track of club members.

General - Update club name, country or website.
Custom fields - Setup custom member specific fields for storing additional information. For example a rowing club may wish to record whether its members are approved steers. A custom field can be editable by club admins or members depending on how it is setup. Club admins can update the information via the club members page. Members can update the information via their profile page.
Web Links - Create, update or delete links.

Link to useful resources such as your club website, google sheets or the weather.

Create groups for teams, squads or committees within the club. For example a group for Senior Women and another group for Senior Men. Group members can be given admin rights to their group only. Club admins automatically have admin rights to all groups.

Groups can be either public or private. A public group is visible to all club members. A private group is visible to the group members and club admins.

Once you have created your Primary groups you can also create a Combined group. For example a combined group Seniors which includes the primary groups Senior Men and Senior Women. The members of combined groups are automatically calculated based on the included primary groups.

Each group has its own calendar.

Only groups admins and club admins can add, edit or delete group calendar items. To add a group calendar item use the button or click on the specific date.

Send messages to the group via email or post on the group wall.

Use this section to keep track of group members.

A user must be a club member to be included in a club group. To add a club member to a group use the button.

Roles - Each group member has a role that can be used for filtering when viewing reports. Example roles are Athlete and Coach. Each member has a single role.

Combinations - Combinations are lists of group members that can be used for filtering when viewing reports and creating fitness session line-ups. Members can be in multiple combinations. Example combinations are fixed line-ups.

Web Links - Create, update or delete web links (see detail below).

Attendance - An overview of group availability between two selected dates. The report can be emailed out.

Results - An overview of training results.

Line-ups - An overview of session line-ups (visible to everyone) between two selected dates. The report can be emailed out.

Calendar events can be for a club, a group or a user. The different event types are Assessment, Race, Social, Training or Other.

Events have a date and an optional time and can repeat weekly or monthly.

If Attendance Options are selected then all participants will see the event included in their Attendance page.

If the event activity is Indoor Rowing then a specific workout can be added. The workout types correspond to Concept2 rowing machines.

The Me tab is for users to add their own information relevant to the event. For example attendance, training session notes and results.

If an Indoor Rowing workout has been associated with the event then a personal history table along with charts will be shown for the specific workout.

Lists the event participants.

Detailed information regarding event attendance. There is a summary with links to filter the information. For example to show only those who can attend.

For Rowing events participant attributes will be shown to assist when putting crews together.

Various tables and charts to analyse and compare participant workout results.

Plan crew line-ups using the drag and drop tool.

  • Start a new session by clicking .
  • Choose boat types for the session, for example and .
  • Drag and drop attending athletes from the spares list to the boats.
  • You can manually type in names or alter the names of the boats.
  • If the calendar event is for a Group then
    • Combinations can be used to fill the boats. Combinations are setup under group settings.
    • The session line-ups can be emailed to the group using the Line-ups report.
